Hello Alfonso, this definitely works! Although some precautions need to be taken. From what we have heard it would be better to use Energizer or Duracell batteries (Some problems have been noted with Vinnic brand batteries). To avoid any danger it is recommended to use the small batteries for appliances with low energy consumption (alarm clock, remote control, flashlight etc.). Do not use the batteries on expensive devices (e.g. MP3 Player) since there is a risk of leakage that would damage the device and your health.
Thank you for your comment,I updated the post. Thanks,
Tal

This is amazing. Does this really work? And is it the same with all brands of batteries? Don't some of them have some dangerous life-threatening chemo-sh*t inside of them? Wow ... this would be the coolest trick ever if this really works ...!

Hi Connie,
It happened to me too! Every time when you need 1.5v batteries you can't find them around the house and they are expensive in the stores.
This tip amazed all of us too!
Thanks for the comment,
Tal
