Mac OS X-based iPod in one week?

For those who have been planning on buying a new iPod, hold your breath just a little longer. Apple Inc has confirmed a “Special Event” that will be held on the 5th of September. Inside sources say that a new Mac-OS X-based iPod will be unveiled. Since the iPod inventories in major retailers are dwindling, this seems very probable. There have also been some rumors that the new iPod may include WiFi capabilities although there hasn’t been any confirmation yet.
