Zamzar LogoHave you ever wanted to convert files without the need of downloading a certain software? How many times have you found yourself searching for freeware that will allow you to open specific files of music, movies or even documents?

It’s seems now there is an easy way. Zamzar is an online software that is dedicated to help you transform your songs, videos, images and documents into different formats. According to the company, their mission is “to provide high quality file conversion for as many file formats as possible”.

The file conversion can be done with 4 easy steps:

  1. Browse the file from you computer or enter the url of the file you would like to convert (there is a 100mb limit in size).
  2. Choose the desired format to convert
  3. Type your email address in order to receive your converted file.
  4. Click on the convert button, and you are ready to go.

Zamzar supports conversion between a wide variety of different file formats including compressed files, and they are constantly adding support for new formats. You can see the different types of extensions Zamzar supports in the Conversion Types page.

We tried using this service to convert a few songs into MP3. Although it took a little time (to upload, convert, receive an email, then download) it was easy to do, and the songs sounded great.

I hope you will find that useful!
