Wouldn’t it be great to be able to take automatic panoramic pictures in various difficult conditions that can revolve 360 degrees? This seems like a fun do it yourself project to create a robot that will allow you to do just that.
This Photo robot holds your camera in place, allowing you to take difficult pictures in 360 degrees.
According to its creator, 360photobot, this project originally took 1 month to do, but it is being improved, such as using different parts of broken CD Roms and Hard Disks. I hope that it helps you construct your own robot or can provide ideas for an additional project.
A step by step tutorial to built it yourself may be found at Instructables.
