Share Your Music Between Two iPods with miShare
3 Comments By Eran Abramson on November 21st, 2007 in iPodHave any of you searched for an easy way to transfer music between two iPods? Did you ever want a song from a friend’s iPod but weren’t near a computer?
miShare gives you the ability to share music and other files directly from two iPods.
This device is as simple as we would like. It connects at the bottom of both iPods and lets you share music with a click of a button. Besides just your tunes, you can also share your movies and pictures. The miShare is rechargeable and is in production at this time. Orders are being taken at the moment and miShare promises to be shipped by Christmas.
This neat, little gadget is currently priced at $99.95 and may be purchased at miShare.

My husband REALLY wants one of these. And I don’t blame him. But, I can’t seem to figure this out… isn’t the music on an iPod un-transferable for many different reasons, namely legally? Isn’t the music locked in some fashion to make this impossible? Sorry if I sound dumb here. But I know I can’t plug my iPod into his iTunes, etc.

Hi Neece, good to see you again.
They mention that you are able to transfer the music onto a second iPod but uploading them on your computer is a different story. It seems it will allow you to share music, but it will not be able to be distributed outside of the actual iPod.

Thanks Eran. That makes sense. It makes this little gizmo quite a neat idea then.
