I used to play the original Konami video game Contra on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) so much as a kid. Do any of you remember the code: “Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A [for 2 players an additional B, A and then Select] Start”?

This game was so much fun and took up so much of my childhood. Even after it was beaten (over and over), I would end up playing it again. I used to set myself records to break such as time to beat the game, finish without losing a single life, and more. In addition, this game provided such a great interaction with an additional player. I mean, what could be better then to save the world from an alien invasion with your friend and a bunch of awesome weapons? Nothing!

Konami Mobile has recently released Contra 4 Lock & Load, which is priced at $5.99. A new game to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the original.
