Many of us are familiar with the looks and simplicity of Gmail. While I have a Windows Live account, I rarely use it because it is simply not as convenient as my Gmail account.
We previously posted WIIFM (What’s in it for me) that writes about many companies that bury the product and its use in so much useless and unnecessary features and information. This particular post included an incredible Microsoft iPod spoof that is very well made and illustrates how the iPod would be different if it was designed by Microsoft.
A new spoof was created as a What if Gmail was designed by Microsoft. It goes on to explain the use of space, color, ads, and more if Gmail was not created by Google.
Do you think Gmail would have been better or worse if designed by Microsoft?

That’s hilarious. I have a windows live spaces account too but I would never use it. I love Google, but if Microsoft had had anything to do with it I’m sure it would be awful. No offense, Microsoft. I still use their stuff, but usually only because I don’t have a choice or the bloat of the program is outweighed by the benefits, and no other program comes close to the functionality. But otherwise, I’d avoid it if I could.

Hey Neece, good to see you.
I use Gmail and simply love it. My windows live account is mostly my spam email, since I do not like using it often.
Gmail gives me a simple, quick and useful account without unnecessary features.
