Ignore All Facebooks Application Invites with One Click

You have been bitten by a Vampire’, ‘Are You a Good Kisser?’, ‘Is this a perfect match?’, ‘Answer this movie Quiz?’

We are all familiar with the new spam of Facebook applications. What started as a fun and interactive way to “play” with your friends, has become a nuisance and a headache. Most of the days, I end up receiving more application invites from my close friends than actual phone calls. Instead of getting closer and more in touch with my best friends, I am hassled and annoyed by the daily invites.

I haven’t accepted one application invite since day one, but I still continually receive invites daily. It got to the point that I finally edited my status message to read: “[Blank]…is NOT accepting applications”…but the spam continues.

I previously wished and hoped for an application to come out that would allow me to ignore application invites. I even thought of a perfect, no nonsense name: “I do not accept Application invites, for if I wanted to find an application, I would search for it myself Application”. I hoped and cried for such an app to be developed for the masses. It seems that my cries have been answered…as a simple bookmark.

The Ignore All button does just what it says. With one click, it ignores all current application invites in your facebook page. When friends, family, or colleagues invite you to their aquarium, werewolf pack, flowershop, and more…just click on this button to ignore them all in one shot. You can watch a video example of this bookmark below.

I as one must praise such creativity and will welcome additional ideas from such creators. Some ideas I previously requested are: the Ignore Forever Application for friend requests that one ignore doesn’t seem to do the job, and the Wooden Stake and Silver Bullet Application to kill off those werewolves and vampires that continually try to harm you.

What other applications can you think of, which should definitely be created?
