Gmail has gained so much popularity since it launched some years back. With additional features added over time, its fanbase grew and so has the love for this email client.
We have seen a number of examples of this love, such as: the unofficial Gmail apps and add-ons that have been independently developed by users have been installed by many and continue to be distributed. Another example is the Gmail collaborative video, which received over 1000 user videos and edited into one fun project. And even art…an ode to the Gmail Inbox with a student made canvas board.
This recent project has been made by a few Russian students, inspired by the Inbox page of Google Mail. The process is illustrated by the fast motion video below that presents the entire journey of recreating the trendy inbox.
This presentation is fun to watch and even brought tears to my eyes. Well, maybe not tears but still made me want to use Gtalk to tell someone about it.
Do you use Gmail? Poll: Which email do you prefer?

As a Gmail user, that canvas art looked exactly like what I see when I log in. That was a cool video.
