Does size matter? Sony seems to think so…the smaller, the better.
Sony introduces new miniature speakers the approximate size of golf balls.
The HT-IS100 5.1 Speaker system from Sony includes 4 tiny speakers, 1 thin center, and a sub. The small little performers weigh only 70g, and the system has a max output of 425W.
If you ever had a problem storing your large speakers around the house, or found it difficult to hang them at the desired places, these small speakers make it easy to maneuver and fit in any spot you find.
Although the specs promise power, I am still waiting to hear the sound.
