Robots Recreation of the Shining: Redrum, Redrum, Redrum
5 Comments By Tal Siach on July 29th, 2008 in RobotsRobots remaking movies? What a great and entertaining concept. Even better, robots recreating an extremely famous scene from a horror flick such as The Shining. With such a freaky movie, I actually think that the Robots add a little odd feeling to it, somewhat enhancing the effect.
One of the greatest novel adapted movies ever made is the Shining, based on the Stephen King novel of the same name. The movie was directed by the late Stanley Kubrick, includes the great Jack Nicholson and also more than a few very memorable quotes such as: “I’m just going to bash your brains in…Gonna bash ‘em right the f#$k in! ha ha ha”, “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”, and the ever so popular “Heeere’s Johnny!”.
This Robot recreation is of the tricycle scene in the Shining, where Danny meets the two girls in the hall. You can watch the remake in the first video and then compare it to the original also included below it.
Which version do you like more? The Original or the Robot remake?

Man, the Shining was such a creepy movie. He does a pretty good job with the robots on the remake.
