Remote Control Ducks for Your Pond
1 Comment By Tal Siach on August 4th, 2008 in DIY (Do It Yourself)

I have always enjoyed feeding ducks when traveling. The ducks are so cute, so needy, and it is fun to throw them some bread and watch them picking up speed towards the potential meal. They look so cute in the water that I sometimes wished for some further interaction, as we usually have with our different pets like cats and dogs. I do not mean to necessarily swim by them, but that wouldn’t be a bad idea. I do not really want to swim in their pond or by them, but have my own duck communicate with them and be in their posse. When I saw this do it yourself project of remote controlled ducks, I thought this was a way to be in both worlds: one with the ducks while still on dry land.

This remote controlled duck diy is pretty cool. It combines a remote controlled submarine with decoy ducks, so it isn’t too deep (no pun intended) to create. All directions, images, and materials required are provided in Instructables below.

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck then it must be…a remote controlled duck for your pond.
