Amazing Grace Using an Electrical Saw

1 Comment By Eran Abramson on September 15th, 2008 in Fun Stuff

This is a great short musical piece of Amazing Grace being played using a modded electrical saw. The saw itself is not originally electrical but was combined with a contact mic and some guitar effects.

I couldn’t help but laugh when I first saw it (no pun intended). It is a regular saw that could be found in a woodshop or garage that was modified to be a musical instrument. The musician/toolman is TJ Hill.

Who thinks this stuff up?

There are different musical mods that do not cease to amaze, such as: the piano keyboard that controls a Table Hockey game, the Floppy Drive Hack playing the Star Wars Theme, regular computer keyboards that rock out Hotel California, and even a Music Pizza Box that is used as a working DJ scratch pad.
