citrus clock Lemon Powered Clock

Now the tech-savvy guys aren’t that shallow to create humble-looking time-piece with spaces to hold half a lemon. The Citrus clock is yet another smart device illustrating how simple stuff can turn out to be a boon amid galloping energy crisis. A previous similar example would be the Lemon Light concept.

There isn’t any rocket science involved here, just application of simple scientific facts studied in school. The zinc and copper plug under the lemon oxidize because of the acidic content of lemon, thereby juicing up the energy levels of the clock. Anna Gram was the one who came up with this simple yet revolutionary idea.
