WordPress 2.7 Upgrade Coming Soon

The net’s most popular blogging software WordPress is going to release its much awaited version Wordpress 2.7 Upgrade.
The exact release time and date as by announcement was supposed to be Thursday, December 4, 2008, at 8PM Eastern Time, but the full version’s release is on December 10. On WordPress.com blogs, you will find all the tips and information you need to handle the transition to the new version of WordPress.
You don’t have to break your head in upgrading your current Wordpress version to Wordpress 2.7 RC1 because it got automatic upgrade option which can save a lot of time and temporary site maintenance messages.
Wordpress also launched a service to check whether your themes and plugins are compatible with new version or not just navigate to the following link respectively and you are done.
