It seems the iPhone 3G Dev Team has done the inevitable: The iPhone 3G unlock is just a couple of weeks away and the Dev Team claims to have completed its mission – of hacking Apple’s restrictions and packaging everything up into a user friendly application.
The iPhone Dev Team release is like a Christmas present for users with iPhone 3G baseband 2.11.07 or earlier and they’re proclaiming it in their announcement, ‘Tis the Season to be Jolly!” The iPhone 3G unlock is slated for release on New Year’s Eve, 2008, just six months after the release of the 2nd iPhone.
