Sometimes, the world of hacking is just like a market in which a company rules and has absolute monopoly. Soon, a competitor comes with equally interesting hackings just like a competitor would arrive in the markets. With that in mind Geohot is not the only iPhone 3.1.3 jailbreaker in town, and there is the hacker Comex, who seems to be doing a pretty good job as well.

In fact, the iPhone community would soon be welcoming with open arms for he seems to be really interesting and promising. He has unleashed a new userland jailbreak called Spirit which is similar to JailBreakMe.com.
Spirit requires you to visit the website using Safari browser and give permission for the iPhone jailbreak. Even more interesting is the fact that it could be used for an iPad jailbreak too, though it is not sure at the moment.
