You might have heard of the game “Angry Birds” that was released for the iPhone. It’s a game basically about, as the title implies, angry birds, who are mad at these pig like creatures. The game is basically the birds attacking the pigs. It’s not incredibly different or unique than any other phone based game, but it was apparently a hit amongst players. So much to the point where there is already fan based animation made for it. Not only that, people are already making fan cakes for them as well. These six cakes were made in reference to that very game.
It’s lucky for the baker that the birds in the game are simply just circles, even though it’s not too complicated to change the shape of the cakes. It’s just overall simpler to have cakes be circular. The animation on the birds are not too complex, so it’s relatively easy to replicate them onto a cake. That does not, however, take away from the fact that these cakes are awesome. It’s hard not to get excited to see characters you love in a form of a cake, even if that cake is poorly made. This particular baker, however, did a wonderful job of making these animated creatures actually look good.
Cakey Business made six cakes in total. The five birds and as well as the green pig like creature. All of the cakes are actually miniature in size, which is convenient if you want to serve them all at once. This is probably the better idea considering the individual character are not popular enough to be sold individually and still be recognized. It’s nice to see all the characters together in this mini cake series.
