Lego My Apple is a Cute MacBook Decal Design

Any Geek knows who Steve Jobs is and the reputation that he carries with pride through the Apple offices and exhibitions, so here is a new portrayal of the Apple CEO as a Bowling Pin which is just asking to be knocked down by Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer.

I must admit that this artwork by Dax Norman must be the geekiest bowling pin anyone has ever seen, for it presents one of the top Geeks, Steve Jobs. It sports the famous Steve Jobs turtleneck along with his regular jeans and glasses. Furthermore, the Apple logo was added to his clothing, so no one would mistake him for anyone else.

Still, Apple fans would probably hail this as the cutest and most innovative bowling pin ever and would probably be the next best thing after the Plush Doll made to look like him and the cute papercraft leaving him square. Better yet, it may also be considered as some amazing Steve Jobs artwork that the CEO of Apple himself would love to have above his fireplace.

In the end though, it is a bowling pin that can be easily knocked over…something the real Steve Jobs is not going to agree with.

Steve Jobs Bowling Pin Art is Just Asking to Be Knocked Down

Apple fans will always praise Apple product designs and Macbook looks, and here we have a spinoff of those famous Apple logos we see on the Macbook covers. Let me introduce the Carrot Macbook, the Chicken Macbook and the Fish Macbook.

Created for an ad for La Cucina Italiana, I wonder if Steve Jobs approved of the use and changing of the Apple logo to fit a recipe website using Carrot, Chicken drumstick and Fish instead of the famous Apple.

As can be seen in the various images, there are 3 laptops (we won’t call them Macbooks) that resemble the Apple laptops and have 3 separate food items with a bite taken out. It doesn’t take a wizard to see the resemblance between these three different images and the Apple logo that has been on the back covers for so long now.

The Ads are supposed to represent a Recipe website where there are so many different recipes available Online. One major thing this ad doesn’t show is that these same recipes are available Online even if you end up using a PC.

New Macbook Cover Designs Make Me Hungry

Apple fans love the newly released iMac, Magic Mouse and additional Apple products, but back in the day, there were the awesome Apple Powermac G4 and G3 that were what every geek dreamed of. Since these same Apple computers cannot deliver forever, Apple modders have decided use an Old G4 and mod it as a body for a ‘Graphite’ (Gb Enet), 49cc, 2-stroke, petrol engine Motorbike – Now that is something even Steve Jobs would be proud of…keeping the G4 alive and riding it to speeds of approximately 30MPH.

This amazing Apple PowerMac G4 Mod project was made by MotoG4, who explain in details about the entire process and could probably make apple fans jealous.

As can be seen in the pictures, the Apple PowerMac G4 remained true to its form, and although some cutting and modding was done…anyone can recognize the computer and Apple logo every time the MotoG4 passes by.

Basically, the PowerMac G4 was gutted on the inside, cut to fit the mini-motorbike and reinstalled with the plastic covering of the G4. When fitted on the bike, a wooden base was built, so the G4 would be snug and sturdy. This same wooden base also raises the entire G4 by a few extra inches, which both allows for a more natural seating and also provides further clearance for the back wheel.

For an additional Apple touch, an old Apple Pro Keyboard was sanded to become a nice and curved Windscreen. Even further, 2 of the G4 handles were attached to become the houses of LED headlights for this cool Mini motorbike.

Overall, besides an awesome combination of an Apple G4 PowerMac and a 50CC Motorbike, Apple geeks would be able to ride on an old G4 in speeds of 30 MPH.

Apple Magic Mouse Unveils a Sleek Multi Touch Mouse

While we had recently spoken about how Adobe and Apple agreed to let Flash Content be available on the iPhone, you could now access Photoshop too and you must have learned this by now already. While Photoshop Mobile for iPhone and iPod Touch was released a few days ago, many users have felt that the striped version of Photoshop isn’t as great as the real deal.

One could certainly crop images, add minor effects, rotate, flip, and also add saturation and tint to your images among the other effects. You must have also learned by now that you would get a free online storage of 2GB with the Photoshop Mobile app, which can be downloaded for free in U.S. and Canada. However, after using the app for a couple of days, users have begun to feel the lack of tools that one could expect in other mobile image editing tools.

You may perhaps be able to edit a picture better on a Nokia N series phone than on an iPhone in spite of Photoshop Mobile being made available. However an equal number of people have also liked the idea of finally being able to edit images at least in certain aspects. One could heave a sigh of relief that we can at last edit images and post them online or share with friends right from the iPhone, and of course, it was high time this happened!

Photoshop on iPhone: How Cool Is It Really?

iPhone might be the most appealing and appreciated piece of gadget in recent times but most people have complained about the Smartphone’s inability to support Adobe Flash. Flash Player had been banned from Apple iPhone, as Steve Jobs claimed that Flash reduces the performance of the chic Smartphone.

While Adobe and Apple had been wrangling about the decision to let or not let Flash on iPhone, Apple has finally relented and allowed Flash developers to craft iPhone applications using Flash Professional CS5. The forthcoming Flash Professional CS5 would allow developers to create interactive, rich, and visually appealing applications for iPhone and iPod Touch but nevertheless, they aren’t exactly Flash applications.

Though they are created as Flash apps, they would not be allowed to run as Flash apps and instead would be exported as native iPhone applications. This may interfere with certain Flash based websites but you would still not be missing all the “Flashy” fun on your iPhone, pun intended. However, users can browse web content from within their own apps thanks to SDK’s UIWebKit component.

I guess it was high time iPhone users got to use Flash based apps and browse Flash rich content on their Smartphone. While Apple and Adobe continue to disagree about each others’ positions, Flash developers and iPhone users seem to have gained a lot more than could be imagined. While the biggies battle it out, you can express your support to Flash developers by getting yourself an Adobe Flash T-Shirt.

CS5 Flash iPhone Applications Can Finally Be Developed for the iPhone

The new iTunes 9 was just released 2 weeks ago, but Apple has already released a newer iTunes 9.0.1 Update that can be downloaded immediately and fixes a few glitches and bugs, making for a better performing app.

As before, iTunes 9 promises to be a nicer, increased performer, which consists of great new features that iTunes users will appreciate. Some of the noted additions are: new iTunes design, Genius Mixes, Social Media addition, Home Sharing and Syncs, High Efficiency Ripping and more.

iTunes 9.0.1 Updtaed Fixes:

- iTunes store incurred some browsing issues, which were resolved with the new 9.0.1 update.
- iTunes reportedly had more than a few complaints about being unresponsive or quitting unexpectedly, so the update fixed both.
- Podcast syncs with iPhone and iPod Touch were patched up.
- Zoom button now switches as well in mini player mode.
- Genius Mixes are automatically updated
- iPhone and iPod Touch syncs have been improved
- iTunes sorting of albums with multiple discs have been repaired.

New iTunes 9.0.1 Update Download Available From Apple

For all those brand conscious freaks who love to sport the brand they carry, here is good news: a fan has designed a carry suitcase for Mac Notebooks that looks like the brand logo of Apple that screams out that you are a Mac Book user.

Well, the design so simple yet, effective, that I can go on bragging about it. The apple like design also sports an Apple logo on the surface. It will be designed in such a manner that any Mac book would fit in the specially provided compartment comfortably along with other accessories, for which there is extra space. I guess, the designer, Eno Setiawan must be an ardent Apple fan to have thought of this. The design is in white color and like other Apple product, will be available in chrome finish.

Apple Suitcase For Mac Notebooks Fans

For those that still don’t know, the new Apple iTune 9 is available for download and it consists of some new features that are worth checking out for any media fan, with or without the iPhone. For iPhone and iPod Touch owners, check out iPhone OS 3.1, which works with some of the new iTunes features.

Note: if your iPhone is jailbroken, you should hold off on upgrading the iPhone OS or iTunes until a crack is released.

Update: New iTunes 9.01 Update is now Available.

When installing the new iTunes 9, an intro video also loads, which helps to get you started and explains the features, but this sometimes takes more than a few moments, so some basic features overview is given here for all.

iTunes New Design

As can be expected from any new product, software or Apple release, the design has been changed, and with design, Apple usually could be trusted.

The new iTunes 9 has made some minor visual changes and majorly changed the Apple store. Moreover, more features and options were added to the browser window, so you can find it easier to sort through your libraries of music and video.

iTunes Genius Mixes

The Genius iTunes 9 Feature can be updated through the Apple iTunes store and makes it easy to create playlists. Simply put, the mix will use songs of a similar genre and put them together in a cool playlist, using a song choice of your own to start the mix.

Apple iTunes9  now allows iPhone and iPod users to use their iTunes for rearrangement of different apps. Along with the iPhone OS 3.1, this makes for a great addition to iPhone and iPod Touch owners.

Home Sharing and Syncs

iTunes 9 provides the ability to share your media between 5 computers that share the same network. In addition, you could also download songs from another library if the user enters his/her information. This cool iTunes feature simply creates an easier way to have your music synced between computers, but I am sure many will simply find it as an easier way to share media.

High Efficiency Song Ripping

High Efficiency ripping is now offered in iTunes, allowing ripping of music in high quality which takes up little space. In order to enable the High Efficiency feature, go to the iTunes settings, then “General”, then select “import settings”. In the AAC area, choose “custom” and finally select “use high efficiency encoding (HE).”

iTunes LP

For major music enthusiasts, the new iTunes LP could be a blessing in disguise, by granting many additional media content for many albums. Such additional rich content includes behind the scenes videos for specific bands, few movies, band inlays and many more extras that music fans love to check out.

The education are of the iTunes store is getting a little more spotlight, encouraging iTunes users to check out some podcasts, lectures and more educational findings.
