This masterpiece is anything but an ordinary clock. Built with looks that would distract people from the time and rather make them follow the smooth curves on this clock, this time piece remains true to its name The Milky Way Clock.

The minimalistic and utilitarian designs that is mastered and people world love, is prominent in this clock. Henrik has described the shape as one that depicts the duality and unity of the sleep/wake cycle, with the clock having three faces. Each face is lit using OLED’s (probably).

An alarm is put into snooze mode by turning the clock over and another turn would allow the user to set the alarm and time. This is probably done using gyroscopes as in iPhones and iTouches and numerous other devices.

Milky Way Clock Is Truely A Stellar Make

George Orwell’s famous ‘Big Brother’ has come alive in many science fiction tales, movies, reality shows where every moment of your life is watched and a face appears in a frame on the wall and speaks. But this is the first instance of having a Virtual Butler who would appear in what looks like a magic mirror on the wall and announce arrivals and give you alerts. Butler’s work is not restricted to security alone, he will also alert you when Jacuzzi is fully heated, remind your appointments or reveal when someone leaves home on the sly. This virtual Butler costs $20,000 and I am not sure whether he would be intelligent enough like a real Butler who doesn’t cost you so much.

I have seen a lot of creative and cute dustbins, but trash bags always remained shy towards innovation, so these Goldfish trash bags have broken all the norms with a refreshing print that could dupe a lot of onlookers. Goldfish Trash Bags Design Makes Taking Out the Trash a Beautiful Sight

This bed pillow was designed by Linus Kustavicius, and it is a truly revolutionary idea. I’m not sure, but I think it was originally meant to be placed on the ground to provide a somewhat different kind of lighting. How you use it is up to you.

I tried hunting around to see how the lighting worked, but most sites had nothing to say about it except that it was possibly some kind of LED lighting. The cover on the pillow is 100% cotton, which will definitely make it a very comfortable option, although actually falling asleep lying down on it may not (depending on your ability to sleep with a light around you).

This image really tempts me to say “An ordinary pillow by day…. but by night it turns into something truly extraordinary”, but I won’t.

As for the details, well the pillow has a powder coated metal frame (which is what will probably make it uncomfortable to sleep on), 100% cotton cover that is both removable and washable and is not very big. 17.75″x17.75″x8″. This makes it quite handy indeed, although I wouldn’t recommend it for a pillow fight.

Here’s how it looks on a wall. I think it is truly the perfect touch to any room, whether it’s a kid’s bedroom or any other room that needs a little something to make it more appealing. It is available for $189 for those who like to splurge on such bedroom designer pillows.

The love grenade is actually a money saving piggy bank with just the piggy missing. The piggy has been replaced by the grenade instead, but with the intention to spread love. The grenade is painted white unlike it’s military counterpart. The white colour is a symbol of love and everlasting peace.
Owen and Cloud sure did spend a lot of time in coming up with this kind of idea, at least that’s what I guess. I personally think that it is a very cool idea to come up with, especially in this crucial time when the world seems to be at the  edge of an outbreak of war.

Hi Tech Toilet Seat Cover!

Ernie would roll in his grave (if he was dead) if he saw this electric Rubber Duckie on the shelves. It is a fake product, but the concept is more than morbid.

For those who like to end their lives in a cleaner and somewhat childish and playful way, this Rubber Duckie is a way to make waves…electric waves. It comes stamped with approval of the maker and even a warning note on the back stating: “Please make sure you have made the right decision”.

I am not sure what about this product disturbs me more: the act of suicide with a child Rubber Duckie or the thought of someone coming up with such a fake product. It is absurd by funny in a twisted black humor kind of way. Kind of reminds me of the Hanging Man Lamp, Noose Lamp and the Bloody Bed Pillow which all raise the same question.
