Evident from the pictures, this is a widescreen version of the iconic Apple touchscreen iPhone. The dimensions are wider, allowing you to use it as a mini-notepad. The only disadvantage is perhaps the fact that you can’t fold it and slide it into your pocket, like its predecessor. However, as far as we see, there are no conspicuous flaws in the design or the idea, especially since a stretched out QWERTY keyboard is always more appealing when the device is wide. From what we gather from the images, there is a ‘portrait’ mode too. We also notice the seamless fold, making sure there are no eyesores when you are rolling your eyeballs from the left to the right, top to bottom or vice versa. A lot of thought has gone into the design, we agree!

Apple iTouch Widescreen ARC2010 is A Heartstopper

The computer mouse cursor is probably one of the most familar icons to anyone worldwide, and this new GPS enabled bench brings it to the real world with digital tracking.

Seen at the cultural festival Ingravid, Catalunya, this project by Sebastain Champion is called Urban Cursor, and allows people in the real world to move a mouse cursor around and track their own movements in the digital world.

It is a full sized bench that is shaped and colored just like the all familar mouse cursor we see on a daily basis at home, in the office or at a colleague’s house. It consists of a GPS device, so as individuals move it around and change its location, a map is being updated Online and changes can be tracked.

While everyone would agree that many geeks need a little breather away from their computer, this is kind of a funny way to lure them away. Instead of them playing with the computer keyboard and mouse at home, they will move the cursor around in the real world, but at least they will get some exercise.

A similar way that previously tried to get geeks outside to play was the Mouse Cursor Kite to point and click from the sky. Besides that, for those who prefer the Online cursor, there was another version of it with the Hand Cursor Oven Mitts.

Computer Mouse Cursor GPS Bench Design: Digital Moves in the Real World

Many of us grew up on different Disney cartoons, animated films and childish characters, but I really don’t think I would have followed the Zombie Mickey Mouse show if it was appearing on the local station.

This cool Vinyl figure modification of the most famous mouse in the world shows a Zombie Mickey Mouse which could really scare children away from cartoons. The detail, color and anger in Mickey’s eyes are a little too freaky, but I still must admit it looks pretty cool. Especially with the sidekick Julius to add to the suspense.

For a child to see this version of Mickey Mouse could be devastating, just like watching Michael Jackson’s Thriller for the first time or even the Zombie Barack Obama. Here you see a character that may seem harmless at first glance become a Zombie that will feed on your brains.

Zombie Mickey Mouse Vinyl Figure Freaks Me Out

The sight of Link PMP concept did not leave me with a perfect Oh-My-God moment, but I have wondered if portable game consoles and media players can have internet capabilities, why not a sync-medium like Bluetooth?! Miguel Duarte got closer to my wish-list and came up with a concept which involves physically connecting similar Portable media players. There have been times when you fell in love with a song on your friend’s music player but can’t get it on yours at that very moment! I prefer carrying a phone that has music capabilities, so at least sharing content from others’ phones is easy.

The designer here probably doesn’t want the cult of PMP to fade away, so he tried to overcome this shortcoming by conceptualizing a way of syncing similar devices.  As seen in the image, there wouldn’t be a wireless mechanism like Bluetooth and Infrared, the players will offer a port to physically connect similar siblings.  The designer also suggests that PMPs from the same tech-brand could be brought together to share screen space. But you wouldn’t want your movies or images to look fragmented because of the colored rims on the four edges of the device. Well, I just hope the electronic bigwigs are reading this and will  surprise us at an upcoming tech-fest. Link PMP Concept Could Make Sharing Content Easier!

The futuristic phone has a slightly sunken touch screen, with one side of controls for gaming and the other side for the phone’s operation. As far as looks go, this Gamer phone looks sleek and incredibly cool, and I’m sure it will be a big hit. It even appears to be ergonomically optimized, which is also a good thing. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to find any dimensions for the Gamer, I think that is because it is still in the concept stage.

As of now, there is not much competition for the Nokia N Series Gage cellphone in terms of gaming phones, and other big companies like Sony and Samsung are still developing their gaming phones. The Gamer Phone therefore comes as some much needed competition for the N-Gage, and should be in great demand. My main concern about the Gamer Phone is how people will actually attend phone calls, but I’m assuming that when this concept becomes a reality, these things will get ironed out.

Gamer Phone Conceptual Design by RKS

This cool new skype phone conceptual design is definitely made for users with discerning arty taste who want a little crazy look in addition to functionality. Having said that, I am a bit defective in the arty gadget area, and for the life of me I cannot figure out what this is supposed to look like, although it does look really cool and futuristic in a bright and colorful way. A bit like Kermit the frog meets the future of technology or something.

Although this device looks really cool, and given that it is meant to be more artwork than a future phone, and I’m not sure if the jagged edges and unwieldy design will make it in the least convenient to use. On the cool side, the keypad is touch screen, and the network of lines connecting the numbers to the ‘S’ at the top looks really awesome. What I’m not sure about is whether the keypad can be removed, because I noticed a little triangle next to the bottom which makes it look like you can slide your finger under it to remove the keypad. HJC Technology, the company that created this Skype phone seem to imply that the phone was only created for aesthetic value, and if that is the case, they have done a brilliant job.

Have a look at the base of the phone, it is definitely not something I would want in a house with little children around.

Artsy Skype Phone Design Makes Me Green with Envy

The Rubik Cube fever has taken over the whole world like a wild fire, and it seems that this fire cannot be put out that easily. Much to the astonishment of many, Ignacio Pilloto, who also designed the Brand Keyboard,  has come up with a very innovative and fun way to replace the usual Pantone demo paint pallet with the Rubik’s Cube, a idea that will make selecting a suitable color for your room much more simple and fun at the same time, comparing two colors will become much more fun and interesting.

Anyway the idea is very ingenious and worth all the appreciation, since it makes the usually boring work of selecting colors, very much exciting, all to the benefit of the people.

Pantone’s Rubik’s Cube Is Way Too Colorful

I don’t know too many people who grew up not knowing who Batman was. For those of you who never did, you have no idea what you missed out on. Anyways, now the designer Alexey Hattomonkey have come up with this brilliant idea for a milk carton that looks like Batman. This is sheer brilliance if you ask me, and looking at the simplicity of the design, I’m surprised no one thought of it earlier. It is just as cute as the Batman Mini Cosplay figures we seen earlier.

The Batman ears just add that little extra that make the whole thing just perfect, not to mention the amazing expression Batman has on the carton and the little touch with the straw. The picture too is quite cool, with the little puddle of strawberry milk right under the straw. True genius on a carton.

What is more, this strawberry “Milk Cocktail By Joe” is perfectly suited to the carton, although I would have preferred something that was a little cooler, and more  macho-like to suit Batman’s image. I just cant wait till they start retailing these milk cocktails in their wonderful cartons.

Batman Milk Carton Lets You Drink Milk While Fighting Crime

I don’t know anyone who isn’t excited about the new Tron film coming out, especially after seeing the amazing looking Black Light Cycles that were so apparent in the Tron Legacy trailer.

Well, here up and close are some amazing images taken at the D23 Expo by JoelTelling and DisneyMike of the Tron Legacy Light Cycle that shows how awesome it looks in the shiny in a sleek black coating. I mean, who in their right mind would not want to ride this thing and simply leave all their worries behind?!

Tron Legacy Black Light Cycle Images

We all know the most important rules of playing any poker game, which is that you got to have the perfect poker face, and now these deck of cards which are black in color add to the effect of your poker face and make it more convincing.

These black cards have an unconventional color for a pack of cards which are usually colored in red and black with prints on the back to make it more colorful and attractive. Instead of color, these black cards have menacing face cards which look like images from a graphic novel, and perhaps make it very easy to bluff in poker.
