The old Thundercats TV show created many fans still who still cherish the animation today, with the characters and story being hailed as one the greatest cartoon shows ever and many cannot deny its coolness.

Well, there isn’t anything new released from the Thundercats, besides a rumor of a Thundercats movie…but then again, that rumor has been for some time, and I will only believe it when I see it. Until then, fans can get a little kick with this new Xbox 360 shell mod that is airbrushed beautifully and shows the characters combined with something new of today.

With all sides sporting different parts of the Thundercats series, this could truly be a way to gather the Thundercats geeks into starting to play the Xbox 360. Now if only the Thundercats video game will be resurrected as well and hit the Xbox 360 console.

Thundercats Xbox 360 Paintjob is Amazing

With so many various Xbox 360 mod released by crazed fans, this one of the Joker from the Dark Knight is absolutely amazing, and I take my hat off.

It was created by an Xbox and Batman fan Carl Butler as a fun project and really took its own life by look and design. The famous Joker face that Heath Ledger wore in the latest Batman flick is right in the front and pops out of the Xbox faceplate…asking “Why So Serious?”.

Moreover, the actual body of the Xbox was done amazing with the look and feel of leather, and the sewing design…as if the real Joker had some sadistic part of the making of this Xbox.

Lastly, as if the Bat needed some approval he is still a cool Superhero, the Batman Logo was also added, making sure the Xbox 360 is complete.

What an amazing Xbox 360 mod, for its creativity, artistic vision and movie (comic book) tribute.

Awesome Joker Xbox 360 Mod is fit for the Dark Knight

Many Xbox 360 fans are waiting for an Xbox handheld console to be released, that will provide some gaming on the go, and until official release, there is a newly designed Xbox 1080 concept that will make gamers drool on something else besides the PSP Go.

Created by Carl Archambeault, this is a new design called the Xbox 1080, which he redesigned due to some comments and feedback from those who saw his original concept.

This new Xbox console aims to be a little friendlier, social and attractive with its look and practical possibilities. It is true that it is a concept and not a prototype, but it doesn’t mean that Xbox fans cannot dream and perhaps Microsoft will at least consider some of the features and looks.

The new Xbox Handheld 1080 Elite will combine Xbox gaming and Zune Media features, so people will be happy the two will actually be unified. The 4.5 inch screen is hefty for such a portable, which will be great for gaming but may not be as practical for comfortable mobility.

The buttons on the Xbox 1080 should be familiar for Xbox 360 gamers and along with a 32GB internal memory, it could be a dream come true. I personally hope such an Xbox portable will be made, and until then..we can be excited about awesome Xbox 360 mods fans make.

The Newly Designed Xbox 1080 Portable for Zune and Xbox 360 Lovers!

People already love the Xbox 360, and we could also see a huge design improvement from the original Xbox, but what should the next generation Xbox 720 console look like?

According to Tai Chiem, the Xbox doesn’t necessarily have to look practical but rather it needs to look as if it came from the future. His take on the Xbox 720 gaming console is to make it look like a spaceship we have seen in SciFi films as we grew up, with a skeletonized frame and acrylic cover.

He went on to make sure Microsoft’s branding would be apparent all around, so no one will confuse it with any other console. It definitely looks cool, but does it really look like it could catch on? It seems to much like a fashion item and not a game console, let alone Xbox. Also, how would you manage to carry it from place to place, will you pass it around like a football?

One major advantage in this Xbox design is the lack (or removal) of the Red Ring of Death. Does this mean that Microsoft will actually provide a console that will work as promised, or will the entire cover turn red and strike fear in Xbox fans?

Xbox 720 Game Console Conceptual Design

We already know how popular the Xbox 360 game console is, but is always fun to see some cool Xbox Mods from creative and artistic fans from around the world wide web. This beautiful Steampunk styles Xbox 360 Mod just gives off some good vintage style and make for an art piece and could stand alone without the gameplay or features.

Unlike the Steampunk PS3 Mod we seen before, not many details are provided about the about the actual development of this particular Xbox mod. Still, Xbox fans will not be let down with the remarkable depth and details that are seen at every image of this wonderful creation.

Without being modding experts or Steampunk pros, we could clearly see the copper and brass coloring that combined with the pipes and gauge give off the vintage look we expect from Steampunk Art. Steampunk Xbox 360 Mod Gives Off Some Good Vintage Style

While the world keeps waiting for a Halo Killer, here is a Halo fan who has created many awesome figures from clay, all inspired by the Halo Series character and monsters. The fellow has gone ahead and created some of the most realistic and believable figures that get too close to the characters depicted in this awesome game.

In fact, the Sparta looks so close to what is depicted in the game that you would not be able to tell it is just a figure. The Elite in Ascetic comes in three shades of blue and with the head bent down, you may actually wonder what the Ascetic is actually doing!

I especially love the Gravemind figures with all the tentacles jutting out of the body. It makes a lot of people squirm in discomfort and fear, I bet. You could also find some really amazing Hunter and Elite figures, along with Flood.

You could expect Authority and Heroes in the next couple of editions, the maker promises. The way the guy has used the colors and sculpted the figures to perfection is almost worth being praised for endlessly.

If you are a fan of Halo and all the characters and situations in the game, you would certainly love these figures. You could also take a look at the cool Halo Xbox 360 Mod that many fans would go crazy for.

Halo Clay Figures Look Amazingly Wicked

Gears Of War is certainly a stunning game, amazing graphics, cool story line and an awesome gaming experience, and this new Gears Of War Xbox 360 Mod has definitely not let the game’s image down either. The new mod is nothing short of simply stunning.

The Xbox 360 mod has an jet black colored background, topped up with the Gears Of War logo engraved on either side of the console completely revealing it’s internal structure.

But the design does not end there by a far shot. When switched on, the whole gaming console is illuminated by red LEDs giving the mod the most ghastly feeling to it. The red LED lights light up the logo in such a way that it appears that the console is soaked in blood. The console has such good design and lighting arrangement that it seems as though the console is brought back from the battlefield, blood, scars..etc.

A must for every fan and a very clever choice for any one else, I would say that this may be one of the best gaming console mods available for sale. The mod surely ensures it’s users get a step closer to reality.

Another amazing creation from Ben Heck has been unveiled that makes additional modification for a beautiful portable Xbox 360 laptop that has all the bells and whistles and looks just amazing.

As we previously seen from Ben Heck’s mods such as the PS3 Laptop Mod or the Commodore 64 Laptop Mod, Ben really knows what he is doing and does so with remarkable precision and design.

In this latest Xbox 360 laptop enhancement, Ben has added some great features and look. Besides being a working portable Xbox 360 game console, it also includes:

Hellboy is getting a lot of airtime with the different fanmade creations and also this amazingly beautiful Xbox 360 Mod that is just steaming as if it just risen straight our of hell.

There is something really mysterious about Hellboy, and that is part of the reason of its rising fanbase. Besides the cool Hellboy Lego figures, papercraft, vinyl dolls and mechabots that people previously made, now there is a most amazing looking Xbox 360 mod that would make fans freak out.

Hellboy Xbox 360 Mod is a Must Have for the Comic Fans

Modders might find the latest news a little disappointing though they would be damn excited themselves, about Microsoft’s Project Natal. If Project Natal works the way it is intended to, there would be no need to use controllers anymore and a major chunk of modding would be negated.

On a more serious note, Project Natal for the Xbox 360 enables players to use body movements to control the gameplay and characters. The technology involves a box under the display/TV which comes with an advanced motion detector, a depth sensor, a microphone and of course a camera. It recognizes full body movements including the ones by toes and fingers and thus lets you play games without ever having to use wires, controllers and joysticks.

The Project Natal even negates the need to login as it recognizes the person in front of it and automatically logs them in. This could pave way to a completely new and advanced form of interactive playing and may have far reaching positive consequences in the world of gaming. Project Natal is has been developed and marketed by Microsoft and was launched by Steven Spielberg at the E3 convention.

Microsoft in its promotional page states that this is the introduction of a c9ontroller-free gaming and entertainment and that no strings (or controllers) are attached. The project is intended to break barriers, remove gadget-phobia, and help stimulate Xbox sales evermore. It certainly seems like a promising new development in the field of gaming, though people may find it hard to do away with controllers just like many found it difficult to do away with keypads when touchscreen came in.
