The 8800 Carbon Arte has some elegant functionality in it, and an anti-fingerprint coating which I think is a great move Nokia should have taken long ago. Tap the steel surface below the display twice and a clock will appear on the screen. It has turn-to-mute capability by simply turning the phone screen side down.If you get a call you don’t want to accept, all you need to do is turn the Phone and put it screen-side down to silence incoming calls.
Nokia has given The 8800 Carbon Arte F-1 like feel by putting the Carbon Fiber, Titanium, Stainless steel and polished glass along with all the regular Nokia Stuff. Background images in 8800 Carbon Arte organically change during the day, giving a unique appearance to the display.
The Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte is a tri-band GSM phone having 3G, a 3.2 megapixel auto focus camera, high quality audio, an OLED display, 4 GB of built-in memory, an anti-fingerprint coating and an all-in-one microUSB connector. Internally, memory is the major upgrade Nokia has given to this mobile phone and has been pushed up from 1 GB in older 8800 models to 4 GB in the 8800 Carbon Arte.
This Nokia cellphone has an equally exclusive range of accessories including a Bluetooth touch-sensitive volume control headset, a desk stand and a leather carrying case. The 8800 Carbon Arte will be available at the end of this quarter in Europe for an Estimated price of EUR 1100 ($1600). There isn’t word yet as to whether it will be launched in the United States or other Countries, but we hope it will be widely accepted in Europe to raise interest and bring it worldwide.
