Monitor Radiation Turned to Weird Music

This video of monitor radiation turned to music is a bit weird. Instead of looking away, staying far from the screen, or simply turning it off, someone has decided to turn the radiation provided from old monitor screen into music, or something close to it. In fact, the player is kind of feeding of the monitor.
We have previously seen some odd, different, and various ways of music being played other than the common way. There is the Amazing Grace rendition using a modded saw, Tesla Coils Guitar Amp, a pizza box DJ Scratch pad and even a simple and accepted app to play piano on computer. Although all may steer away from the norm, why would someone want to create music from a monitor or radiation?
